Q: How long have EPBS and Apsley Business School been around?
A: EPBS has been operating for years, while Apsley Business School has been successfully established for more than 8 years.
 

Q: How long does the Master's or Doctorate programme take?
A: We place great emphasis on recognizing your previous achievements, which can significantly reduce the length and scope of the program. Our goal is to make the programs as efficient as possible. Ideally, you can complete the MBA/MSc within 6 to 12 months and the DBA/PhD typically within 1 to 2 years, depending on your progress in writing the thesis.
 

Q: Are all degrees from EPBS/Apsley recognized?
A: Yes, thanks to our accreditations, all degrees are internationally recognized.
 

Q: How much freedom do I have in choosing my topic?
A: You have maximum flexibility as long as your topic has a connection to business disciplines / business and management. Potential areas include business administration, sales, business informatics, digitalization, artificial intelligence, business psychology, health management, business education, or business law. Many other topics are also possible—just ask us! We are happy to advise you on your desired topic.
 

Q: Do the supervisors speak my language?
A: Our supervisors provide individual support and have many years of experience guiding theses. All supervisors speak English or German and often a third language as well.
 

Q: Do I have to attend lectures/courses or online lectures, or take additional exams for the thesis or dissertation?
A: No, because one of the unique features of EPBS is that we made significant efforts during accreditation to implement our Prior Learning concept. This means that, after a free review of all your prior qualifications (academic studies, training, professional experience, projects, further education, etc.), you can be directly admitted to the MBA+MSc or DBA+PhD by thesis or dissertation. So, you do NOT need to take any additional exams, courses or lectures.
 

Q: Is there an on-site graduation ceremony or printed diplomas?
A: We are committed to offering our students an affordable and flexible educational experience. For this reason, printed diplomas and local graduation ceremonies are not included in the standard tuition fees. The Apsley Business School issues a printed diploma. However, the following options are available:
 

Graduation Ceremony in London:
Once a year, we host a formal graduation ceremony in London. For a fee of 800 Euro, you can participate in this special event, which includes gowns, a dignified ceremony, a festive lunch, an after-party and more. We are pleased to offer this option to celebrate your achievements in a meaningful way.​

Q: Will my tuition fees increase if I take longer to complete my academic work or could I be removed from the program?
A: No, our tuition fees are fixed and will not increase, no matter how long you take to complete your writing. You can remain in the program for years and manage your time freely and flexibly.

A: At the European Postgraduate Business School (EPBS) in Switzerland, we focus on providing high-quality postgraduate programs designed for ambitious professionals worldwide.
Through our collaboration with Apsley Business School London, our diplomas are awarded via UK organisations regulated by Ofqual and aligned with the UK Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) – a trusted international standard. While EPBS and Apsley are independent institutions rather than state-recognised universities, our programs are designed to be practical, globally relevant, and career-focused.
